Baby Steps Networks at Street Festivals in Newburgh and Cornwall

Baby Steps Baby Pantry volunteers staffed our booth at Newburgh Illuminated in Newburgh NY, and at Riverfest in Cornwall, right on the banks of the Hudson.

At Newburgh we were set up right in front of Washington’s Headquarters on Liberty Street, with lots of volunteers including Kerry, Laura, Diana and Carol. At Riverfest in Cornwall, Jim, Theresa, Eva and Kerry educated Riverfest attendees about diaper need in Orange County New York. At both festivals we passed out Baby Steps Baby Pantry reuseable shopping bags.

At Newburgh Illuminated the pop up tent was barely in place when a $100 cash donation was given to help keep babies dry happy and healthy THANKS!

It’s been a busy Spring filled with great opportunities to connect with the communities we serve by participating in Hudson Valley Gives, Newburgh Rotary’s Hoops and Swish, Westchester County’s North East Doulas Mother’s Day Event, Newburgh Illuminated and Riverfest in Cornwall.

In addition to making new friends we received $4,000 in donations at recent events.
